What to Bring to a Register Binding Session

The binding session assumes your words are final. Arriving unprepared delays the workshop and stresses the spine when we must add loose inserts later.

Bring

  • Completed interior pages in page order (no staples through the fold)
  • A printed table of contents if your draft exceeds 40 pages
  • Identification for office check-in
  • Reading glasses if you use them—the binding stand is arm’s length

Do not bring

  • Laptops for live editing—we bind what you print
  • USB drives with wallet exports
  • Guests who have not been briefed on your privacy preferences

Paper standards

If you print at home, use 24 lb bond minimum. Thermal fax paper degrades; we will ask you to recopy on archival stock before binding. We sell a preparation pack for ₩18,000 if you prefer our paper from the start.

Timing

Allow ninety minutes. Binding itself takes forty minutes; labeling, pouch fitting, and photography of the exterior (for your insurance inventory, not register contents) fill the remainder.

Reserve a binding session and note how many volumes you are bringing.
